Designed to Optimize UV Output
The MonoCure system design provides an intense, focused band of UV energy to the substrate.
- Dichroic reflectors reflect useful UV energy while absorbing harmful infrared energy.
- Secondary external reflectors refocus UV energy to maximize intensity on substrate. Patented secondary reflector design provides a strong 2" band of UV energy below the lamp head.
- Water-cooled lamp head and filtering tube absorbs direct infrared energy, prevents adverse affect to heat-sensitive substrate. This quartz tube stays cool with high-velocity water circulating within.
- Shutter-less design improves dependability with no moving parts. Used with Nordson’s digital power supply, output power can be reduced so heat is no longer a factor
- No ozone is produced outside the lamp head, eliminating need for costly air extraction systems. Provides significant savings on installation and operation.
- Elimination of cooling air keeps lamps and reflectors cleaner for reduced maintenance,longer service life and optimal UV performance. Eliminates the need for noisy cooling blowers and possibility of contamination to end product. Unique design also eliminates high velocity air blowing directly onto substrates, eliminating possible contamination and movement of fixtured parts.
